These Terms govern your use of Astarter AI. Please read them, in particular the section on AI output, which limits what you can rely on.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using Astarter AI ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. What Astarter AI is
Astarter AI is a general-purpose AI assistant that generates text responses to your prompts. To answer questions that need current information, it can search the web and open links or pages you ask it to read. The Service is provided for general information and productivity only.
3. AI output is not professional advice
Responses are produced by automated systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on them for professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions without independent verification by a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you use any output.
4. Web browsing and third-party content
When answering, the assistant can search the web and open pages or links you ask it to read. That content comes from third parties we do not control and may be inaccurate, biased, out of date, or unavailable. Treat anything it retrieves as a starting point and verify what matters before relying on it. Visiting a linked site or acting on retrieved content is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.
5. Accounts and sign-in
You can use the Service as a guest. You may optionally create an account with a Google account or an email and password to sync your data across devices. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: break the law or infringe others' rights; generate or share unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content; disrupt, overload, or seek unauthorized access to the Service; bypass or probe usage limits, rate limits, security, or other safeguards; reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except where the law expressly allows; or extract its outputs at scale to build a competing product. We may limit or suspend access to protect the Service or other users.
7. Free tier, limits, and plans
Free use is subject to daily limits that may change. Paid plans, where offered, are billed in advance for the interval shown at purchase, are non-refundable except where required by law, and may change on reasonable notice. Prices shown may be introductory and may change before general availability.
8. Your content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of the prompts and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content only to operate and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Subject to your rights in your inputs, outputs are provided to you for your own use. The Astarter AI name, brand, and interface belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party AI model providers to generate responses, on infrastructure and email providers to operate, and on web search engines and third-party websites when the assistant retrieves current information or opens a link you request. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or actions.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astarter AI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or USD 100.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive, including disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law, survive termination.
13. Governing law and changes
The governing law and venue will be set by counsel for your launch jurisdiction and will apply without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms; we will change the "last updated" date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
